Burringbar, what a cute little town. I don't know if there is anywhere else to buy food from here, but The Barn has pretty much EVERYTHING. They have a menu to order from and I must say the Burger with the Lot was delicious, filling and substantial. Just what was needed for the 18km ride back to Murwillumbah. Hubby had the chicken burger and said it was 'excellent'. There is also a cabinet at the register area with a different array of bread rolls and I think cakes (didn't take a close look) if you want something quick. They have a little side verandah area with table and chairs to sit and eat. The owner Malia (like Maria) is lovely. Happily come back and buy another burger here and we probably will when we bring our friends on a ride on the NRRT. There's a bike rack out the front to leave your bike at too!

I stopped by this shop just before Easter for a couple of coffees and some slice on the way to Uki. Had I not been on a time line I would have driven back to buy every peice of that lemon lime slice, it was so good. I retuned today for a couple more coffees which were delicious but unfortunately no lemon lime slice in the display cabinet today My daughter and I had a serve of chips and gravy and they were better than KFC in my daughters words. Luckily there was some caramel slice on offer to accompany the coffees and is was amazing too. While this shop has all your general needs as a convenience and grocery store as well as a bottle shop at the rear, if you are in search of a bite to eat or nice coffee and slice for the drive I highly recommend you give this place a try.

Such a great spot for a cuppa and a rest! We were visiting Burringbar to check out the antiques/collectables store a couple of doors down and decided on a stop at the The Barn and I'm so glad we did! The baked goodies looked amazing so hubby had to try the lemon curd donut and wow, that curd *chefs kiss*. Coffee was well made as well. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

We all loved it. Lovely coffee or chai and a tasty selection of food and cakes to go with your choice of drinks, hot or cold. It's a mini supermarket with an extensive choice of groceries and alcoholic drinks. Upstairs area accommodates the Burringbar Clothing Collective, one for the ladies.
